Unprimitive Hut

A Kit of Parts for a Prefabricated World

The unprimitive hut utilizes a pre-fabricated kit of parts comprised primarily of two elements:  4′ x 8′ panels and 4×4 lumber.  It signifies industrial processes, mass production, and a modernist detachment from nature, while at the same time showing the virtues of the Modernist ideal as an architecture of simplicity, utility, and inclusiveness.   It is a metaphysical hut for the physical world.
